Q. What is Adoptees-UKIE?

A. This is a list to help adoptees who are either searching or living in the
    UK and Eire to trace their birth families. It is intended as a platform
    for the exchange of ideas between adoptees, birth parents and other
    people who are involved in the search. Suitable topics to post are
    'how to search', useful search resources, success stories, appeals for
    advice, help, genealogical research..........

Q. How do I subscribe?

A. To subscribe to Adoptees-UKIE, send the message

    subscribe adoptees-ukie 'yourfirstname' 'yourlastname'

   to listserv@listserver.pipemedia.net.

   Substitute your own first and last names for "yourfirstname" and
   "yourlastname".  Subscription requests omitting a subscriber name
   will be allocated a subscriber name of  [No name available]. You can of
   course subscribe ANONYMOUSly.

Q. How do I unsubscribe?

    If you have any complaints, comments or suggestions please send them to
    one of the above. Nobody moderates the list but the owners do monitor what
    is posted and do review infringements of the posting rules and take action
    in the case of major violations.
