My name is Robert.
I am trying to help a friend of mine locate some one that he met many years ago when he was in the US Marines. The meeting took place in Gateshead, in the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area. The woman’s name at that time was Anne Elliott. She met a United States Marine by the name of Danny (Daniel). They met at a Discotheque called Tiffany’s The meeting took place around September or October of 1978. They corresponded for a while. After a while the correspondence stop. Daniel has often thought about Anne and has wanted to try and get in contact with her. Daniel and I are both in the USA. This is the update on what I have done so far. I have emailed “The Evening Chronicle” and “The Chronicle Live” with no response as of yet. I have also posted this in other Google UK groups. Some one posted in a group who might be the Anne I was looking for. She was on Facebook. I was only able to send an invite to her be on my friends list. So I couldn’t let her know what my intentions were on why I was contacting her. I did find about 6 Anne’s on My Space. One who lives in Australia. I posted and also emailed them all with no response from any of them. So if any one knows Anne or knows how to contact her. I would be very grateful if you would contact me. Daniel would totally surprised if I were able to give him the information on how to contact her. I have also look at ancestry.com and www.192.com and other people search sites like them they want credit card information that I prefer not to put over the internet.
