I have some documents that were passed on to me by a relative who visited the Lugan, Moira area of Armagh. The documents appear to be a college lecture series that describes "The Irish Robinhood". This legend (?) tells the story of a Northern Irish family named O'Haughian who were eventually executed by the British. They avoided capture for years by hiding out in what became known as the O'Haughian Caves, north of Lurgan.

Has anyone heard of this legend?

PATRICK GERARD McSHANE (PAT)
Does anyone know the whereabouts (or fate) of my Dad with whom I lost contact following my parents split 32 years ago. His name is Pat McShane and is originally from Lisburn but spent many years in the merchant Navy. My mums name was Ina Richmond and we resided in Scotland while Dad was at sea. Pat must be in his 70's now and I would love to get in touch with him if he is still alive.

I am searching for a John Breen who emigrated from County Cork, Ireland to London, England with his wife Mary. Family lore has that he was a ship builder and worked on the first ship that sailed under it's own power to the United States. They had a daughter Mary born in London, 16 May 1854. They came to the US about 1863 on a ship that was blown off course during a storm and got hung up on a sandbar for three days before proceeding to ? . Family thinks New York was the destination.
