Im looking for my grandmothers birth certificate from belfast Ireland in 1931. She was adobpted. Im writing to see if anyone could helpme with my search. Apparently a church where all the records were kept burnt down in 1930, however she was born in 1931. I have her original name as Hoye and the people who adopted her names. It seems a challenge where to look for this.
Anyone have any ideas?

| I'm trying to find information about my birth mother, Nancy Wilding (nee Butler) from Cloughjordan Co Tipperary Ireland. I was born 2-3-1953 and baptised Patrick Joseph Butler. My mother had no option but to have me adopted. She worked in a hospital in Hereford and in November 1955 went back to Ireland to marry a Mr Wilding. | I would like to find my mum or at least try and find out about myself. I was placed in a car in January 1962 in Dunmurray Northern Ireland. I live each day wondering who my mum was and would love the opportunity to speak and meet with her. I now have my own family and would love for her to be part of my life. does anybody know a margaret mc garry born early 1900s in n ireland or relatives off,she had a daughter teresa born 17th april 1932 who she gave up for adoption teresa would love to know if she has any living relatives
