Stephen Hoy is also looking for her, he put a message on Genes Reunited in february 2003 but because he is no longer a member I cannot contact him. It is imperative that I find Stephen, does this message ring any bells with anybody? Please contact me if it does. I am searching for David George Christodoulou born on 27th October (not August) 1956 at 17 St Peters Road, Parkstone, Poole, Dorset. David was ADOPTED out of the family. His mother was Helen May Christodoulou (my sister) who sadly died in 1970. Helen was 16 when David was born. We also know that Helen was working at Max Factor when David was born. Helen went to Kemp Welsh school and left in 1955. Helen lived with her grandmother Ellen Toms (previously Downie) (nee Cherrett), for a short while during the blitz years and later with Alfred and Elsie Merrifield at 3 White Close, Poole. This was probably an informal arrangement, as Helen was recorded at School (Kemp Welsh) as “Christodoulou”, and a “Mr Christodoulou” was recorded in the school attendance register, as her parent / carer. Poole. Helens parents were George Christodoulou and Phyllis Christodoulou (nee Cherrett). They divorced and both married again. George stayed in England and Phyllis went to Canada where she married Ernest Scott in 1954/5. I am trying to find David as he is my nephew. My mother had the same name. I was adopted from a children's home in Leominster, Herefordshire, in the 1940's when I was six years old. My Norcap researcher thinks that my other came from Ireland and went back after the birth. I would like to know if there's any family of her's still alive. Born in St. Rita's Nursing Home in Dublin on 25 January 1967. Very grateful for any information.
