Add a message to this board Boards Menu Search Boards Kieran Davitt Dublin, Ireland Oct 15, 2004 My name is Patricia Carroll i am helping my son-in-law in Kieran Davitt in his search for his birth mother.The only information we have so far is that Kieran was born in St. Finbarr's Hospital in Cork on the 6th of May 1975.Kieran's mother may have come from Dublin or just outside Dublin she worked in the catering industry.She was aged 21 when she gave birth and she was the eldest of 5 children. Kieran's birth mother named him Michael. He was adopted by a dublin couple who named him Kieran. We would be grateful for any information about his birth mother or any contact from her. Kathleen Garraton gave birth to Peter, 25th july 1948 Birmingham.she is thought to have been Irish.Peter was adoptedin Frebruary 1949 and kept his christian name.Sadly Peter died in 2003 without ever tracing his mother but his three children are continuing the search. Reply to this message   maureen stothard newcastle /north shields /ireland Oct 03, 2004 Iam trying to trace a birth mother by the nameof Harriet Quinn.She was the mother of twin boys.Adoption date 7.3.55.in hexham court in northumberland uk.The birth took place at Oakfield nursery in Kendal[Cumbria].It was handled byCatholic Care North East.Harriet had 2 sisters Mary/Elizabeth. She also had a brother Edward.Harriet was a nurse at North Shields Hospital. It could be that Harriet maybe moved back to Ireland after the adoption. Any information would be gratefully received.Asone of your sons would like to meet you .And get to know you if possible.thanks a lot MAUREEN Reply to this message   Wendy England Sep 26, 2004 Still searching for relatives of Margaret Mary O'callaghan. She lived and worked in England from 1947-1950 when I believe she either returned to Ireland or emigrated to Canada. There is no marriage registered in England after 1950 for her. There is also a connection to Canada, I believe there are people there that know of me. I am Margarets daughter and was born in March 1947 in Romford where she worked as a ward maid at Oldchurch Hospital I was then adopted at probably 6weeks old to a couple in Chelmsford and named Wendy Ellen Whittaker. Does anybody recognise any of this information.
