Kathleen Quinn
I was born Annette Frances Maguire, born Sept. 17, l948 in Belfast, N.Ire. My birth mother's name was Mary Maguire....I believe she had one child previous to giving birth to me..
I was adopted by James and Kathleen Quinn (nee Magennis).and lived in Greencastle and went to Star of the Sea School.. and then we immigrated to Canada in l956
I just found out I was adopted when my adopted mother passed away last year..my adopted father had already passed away...so..I now have no living relatives in Canada...Would like to find out more about my birth mother and hope that I have some sisters or brothers living in Ireland..
If any one has any information about Mary Maguire, born, approx. l923 - l925...who lived or worked at Marlborough Park in Belfast in l948, could you please contact me ... There is no one here in Canada that I can turn to for help..I was an only child and would love to find out if I have any "Maguire" brothers or sisters..it would truly be a blessing to find my birth family...I'll keep on hoping for a miracle.... |

I was born in New York on April 24, 1975. I was told my birthmother was an Irish girl who came to the US to give birth to me and moved back to Ireland shortly thereafter. If this date means something to anyone out there, please reply to my message. Thanks! |

During the later part of 1946 my sister Joyce was taken from her home where she had lived for almost 4yrs with her mother, sister and half brothers. She was given away for adoption - could have been a private one and no contact or knowledge of her has been since that date.
Her birth date is.........21 NOVEMBER 1942.....and she was born at home in Middlesex. I am Joyce's sister born in 1945 and also adopted but to a different family!
Joyce was quite a tallish child with blond hair - like mine.............................do you know this person - if so please make contact as I have been searching for so many years now. Thank you. |
