| I have a PATRICK LENEHAN (LENIHAN) b/Feb 1841-1843 in Clashmore Waterford Ireland who got married on 21 June 1864 in Church of Anunciation Chesterfield Derbyshire UK to Susanna Gavan B/24 June 1843 in County Mayo Ireland. They emigrated to Australia between 1865 (when their first child Catherine (Katherine) was born in Chesterfield Derbyshire UK) and 1868 when it is known they were in Australia as their twins William and Mary-Ann were born and died here that year. Patrick's parents were William Lenehan b/d unknown; married at the Catholic Church in 1838 at Clashmore Waterford Ireland to Catherine Coleman b/d unknown. They had 5 children MARY b/ca 1838; PATRICK b/ ca 1841; BRIGID b/ca 1843; WILLIAM b/ca 1845 and THOMAS b/ca 1849. Can anyone help here please? |

I am researching my family history.
My grandmother Elizabeth Delaney born Feb 1868 to parents Thomas and Anne Delaney (Nee Murphy) born in Carlow, South Ireland. There were three other children born Michale Delaney born 1869, Bridget Delaney born 1874 and Anne Delaney born 1871.
Elizabeth married John George Rolle (possibly his parents were from Ireland and went to Australia) John George came back to England/Ireland met his wife and the appears on the UK 1901 Census on the Isle of Wight were he became a local well known artist. Died in 1916 and was survived by wife and ten children all whom were brought up on the Isle of Wight.
I am anxious to find out anyhting about the Delaney family and the whereabouts of Elizabeth and John George before moving to the Isle of Wight and finding a Marriage Certificate or anything which will connect them.
Any information on the family in general will be very much appreciated.

Am trying to find infformation on MICHAEL MORRIS b. c.1828 AND hi wife CATHERINE SPALMIN b.c.1838.
They came accross from Ireland and were married in 1854 in DUNBAR, Scotland. MICHAEL MORRIS was an agricultural labourer and flitted accross the border of Scotland and Ireland. Ending up in Gateshead where he died in 1873. I then lose track of Catherine I think she went back to Scotland. Can anyone help track down this elusive pair and give me names of any siblings or their parents names, etc. |

I am looking for information for Archibald McCullough born 1718 Derry, Ireland. He came to America with his brothers James, John, and unknown and his sisters Sarah and unknown about 1740. Any information about the birth dates or parents would be wonderful.

Have discovered that James and Ellen STEWART arrived in Australia aboard the FLYING CLOUD , 5th.Jan.1863...not 1870.
Birth dates have been given as an estimate taken from Passenger List.
James Stewart b.?1822.
Ellen(Ryan)Stewart b.?1824.
Both supposedly b.in Co.Clare.
