MC GLINCHEY OR MARKEY INFORMATION
I am searching for any information on my great-great grandparents. Peter McGlinchey was born in Donegal, Ireland in 1829 and married Anna Markey who was born in 1826 and was also from Ireland. The 1860 census shows them living in Wilmington, Delaware. At that time they had twins Thomas and James who were born in 1857 and Margaret (Mag) who was born in 1860 all born in Delaware. They also had Mary Ann (Macie) who was born in Wilmington, DE in 1863 and Kathryn (Kate) who was born in 1867 in Ohio. The 1870 census shows them living in Preble Co., Ohio. I believe Peter had a brother Thomas. Anna supposedly arrived on the ship, Queen of Great Britain. I have no further information regarding their parents, when they immigrated, their point of departure or arrival. They were Roman Catholic. Any information is greatly appreciated. |

Hello to everyone....I'd like to find out some information on my g/g/grandfather, John Moore, who was born at Wexford about 1801.His parents were George and Elizabeth Moore. John married Eliza Jones in Ireland and had several children before migrating to Australia in 1852. If I could find out something about his birh details or marriage, that would be wonderful.
