My late father's Grandmother, Bridget Kelly (nee Prial/Pryal)b.1848 was to visit the Co. Mayo family farm in 1899 with some of her daughters. The planned trip never took place as Bridget died February 1899. On Bridget's Marriage Certificate it lists her father as John Prial, Farmer and the only other sibling I am aware of his her brother Martin born c. 1840. Can anyone help with identify the the family and/or farm? |

John Whelan Dulanty, First Irish Ambassador to Britain in 1950 was born in England of Irish parents: John Dulinty (name as signed by John himself and listing his father as David Dulinty, Farmer) married Ellen Crowley (deceased father given as Francis Crowley, Weaver). The Dulantys are stated to be from Tipperary and the Crowleys from Limerick. With JWD's Grandfather being a Farmer there must be a record of the area of origin in Tipperary from which the family came and I would appreciate any help from learning my late father's direct lineage through his 'cousin'. |

Correction from previous query on Delia L. McCloherty. Info taken from 1901 Canadian census, not 1881 as stated in body of message. Sorry!
Thanks,

Searching for info on the family of my great grandmother, born Delia L. McCloherty. I have conflicting info. Most likely info is:
Delia Lavina McCloherty
DOB: Aug. 28, 1872
Parents: Martin & Anna May
Place of Birth: Londonderry.
My father thought she was from Cork, but the above info is gleaned from a marriage restigry in Toronto, Ont.,on Apr. 25, 1888, and the 1881 Ontario, Canada census.
If anyone knows of this family,I would love to hear from you.
Thanks! |

Hi, I am trying to find Mary Hade my great grandmother. She was born in Ireland around 1880, she married Ralph Briggs not too sure when and I don't know if it was in England or Ireland (I haven't found her in England after extensive searching). She died around 1930 in Durham England. If anyone can possibly give me any extra infor or tell me where I can possibly look for more info I would appreciate it.
Thanks |
