I would be very happy for any info on the "Tabman" family who moved to England between 1849 and 1855. They lived in Salford and then Gorton Manchester. One census records them as coming from "Firmanch" |

I am trying to trace my great-great-uncle John Cooke from Mountrath. His father was Martin Cooke & mother was Mary Cooke nee Lanigan. He was born 1858, joined the 7th Dragoon Guards. He may have settled in America. Any information on him or the Cooke family would be appreciated. |

Duffy (Durfee, Duffee) This name and line are lost to us. We know that they are from Ireland, but can't find them.
Patrick Duffy md. Margaret ??
Their daughter, Mary Elizabeth, born 1847 came to Providence, Rhode Island - married & died there. If anyone can help with the history of this name and these people I would greatly appreciate it! In fact if there is a professional genealogist interested. Let me know! |
