Looking for any information re: William Hefferan (or variant)and his wife Catherine (nee Callaghan). Both were born in County Cork...possibly in Cobh (once known as Queenstown) between 1835 & 1841. Their first child (Michael) was born in Wales (Merthyr Tydfil)in the late 1850s. Can anyone assist ?
Thanks in anticipation ....

I'm looking for my gran, born Margaret Mary Murphy, supposedly in County Cork c1889. She is officially in Sheffield, Yorkshire by 1921 married to my grandad, Verdon Ryalls and mother to my dad, Bill. She died in 1956. We used to get letters from an Aunty Peggy until the late 60s. Does anyone know anything about her early life and family? |

Thank You.

I am trying to find information about my Dads Aunt. She was born Ellen Moran born in Ireland and came to the U.S. and married a soldier from WW1 named Lubin and we believe she lived in New York. I have found a death record for Ellen Lubin for San Diego California but that is about all I have found. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. Thank you. |

My G.Grandfather JAMES TEGARTY was born in Ireland c1840. I don't know which county. He married Annie Jones in Winchester, England in 1869 when he was in the 60th Rifles, a Corporal. They had 6 or 7 daughters and 1 son that I know of.I don't know when he came to England. Tegarty isn't a very common name and I am wondering if William TEGARTY who was on the 1881 census in Carnarvon at the same address with his family (militia barracks) was a brother of JAMES.
How can I find a Birth Certificate for James in Ireland and can anyone help, I'm stuck. |
