Hi ,Its Gillian Read here I have since found out that my cousin was born in Pear tree Nursing home Welwyn Garden City Herts NOT at Brocket Hall in Welwyn as ii once thought
So if any mother who gave birth to a child in Pear tree Nursing home in the first two weeks of December 1946 my cousin was eventually adopted.
and they spoke of my auntie Sybil Henniker from Codicote at that time being on the same ward as them, and became friends I would be so grateful for any info they might have told their family re Sybil as my cousin would like to know who her birth father was and auntie Sybil might have mentioned his name etc

Hi, if your mother gave birth in the first or 2nd week of December 1946 in Brocket Hall Welwyn Hertfordshire and you were told of a Sybil Henniker from Codicote Herts that they might have befriended AND Chatted too whilst in Brocket Hall
Please can you contact me, as my cousin was Sybils baby born there on 4th December 1946 AND ADOPTED IN THE FOLLOWING April and although she did get to meet her birth mother Sybil, has no information as to who her father was. As sadly Sybil had Alzheimers and could not remember his name Any information would be so appreciated kind regards Gillian |

| I am helping my friend search for her half sister. We have little to go on except she was born in 1949 and the surname is Baigent. We think she was adopted in Huntingdon UK. |
