Hi,
I'm trying to trace, for a friend, the family of Doreen Freda PEACOCK, born 1916, birth registered in Wandsworth (Doreen's mother's maiden name was Holland).
Doreen married in 1935 and her married name was BAYLIS but this marriage broke up a few years later. There was also a connection with the surname of ROWLATT and a child born in Bath in 1945.
If any of this is familiar to you or you know of someone who may have been related to Doreen, I would love to hear from you so I can help my friend.

I am looking for the children of JACKSON and ALICE JANE PROCTOR COWARD of Lancaster, England.
ANN MARIA COWARD b. 1883 married THOMAS SPAIGHT b. 1890 married 11 May 1914. Children are JOHN ALBERT SPRIGHT, b. Feb. 1915; girl SPRIGHT, b. 1942; and one born 1944.

The Waterhouse’s from Middlesex and Sheffield
Hi can anyone help me with tracing as much information that I can get on a John H Waterhouse and His Family.
John Hodgson Waterhouse was born in 1831 in Middlesex but Moved to Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield. I have found him and his Family in the 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 Census’s. He was a doctor at the Royal Hospital in Sheffield and he and his wife Lucy (maiden name Frith) had 6 Children – Lucy Blanche Born c1862, Laura Born c1875, Tinsley Born c1865, Bernard Born c1867, Rupert Born c1973 and Gertrude Born c1868.
Lucy Blanche died age 35 in Rotherham in the September Quarter of 1895
Rupert Waterhouse qualified at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1897. In 1901 he moved to Bath became a physician at the Royal United Hospital and the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases and died in 1958.
In the 1901 census, John H Waterhouse age 70 and Lucy age 65 are living in Maltby, Yorkshire, and John died in Scarborough in the Sept quarter 1909
Our Challenge has come in
1 Tracking down John Hodgson Waterhouse down parents.
2 And any information on Bernard, Tinsley (who is believed to have moved to France) Gertrude, and Laura
Any information, no matter how little or large, would be accepted with great gratitude.

Hi
I am looking for help in tracing me Great Grandfather Fred Gartland born in Halifax UK on the 19th April 1890, his mothers name was Eliza Gartland (Father unknown) In apprx 1941 he went missing and the family are desperately seeking info on what happened to him in the years after 1941.
If any one can shed some light on this we would be ever so grateful. Looking forward to any help with this. Cheers Tanya

Can any one assist in helping me on any information on a John Gartland who is believed to have been born around the 1833 to 1838 in Drogheda Ireland. In the 1871 census I find him in Stalybridge Lancashire UK married to a Theresa but unfortunately I can not find him anywhere before this date or anywhere after 1891. His siblings are Eliza Born 1872 Lancashire, Matthew Born 1874, Tom Born 1876, Mary Anne (Annie) Born 1878, Fanny & Helen (or Ellen) Born 1881, Alice & Kate Born 1883, Sarah Born 1884, John Born 1886 all in Halifax.
Waiting in Anticipation for any Info (little or large)

Looking for my maternal family - The Gilbert Family. My Grand Father Harry Gilbert went to Freetown, Sierra Leone as one of the British expertriates during the colonial era to work on the railway in Sierra leone. All I know is that other relatives - aunts,nices and newphews include Vera, Alice, Roy - who was a pilot during the Vietnam war. While in Freetowm he had 5 children - Vera, Sony, Inez, William and Alice Amy(my mom -born in 1926) aftermy grand father - harry passed - away. Harry died in Freetown, Sierraleone where he was laid to rest. I'm also trying to locate his children, my uncles and aunts Roy and Amy who also live in England. Any help would be appreciated as the relatives in Freetown, the USA, Germany are also trying to locate them.
