I am doing research on the Ulbrich family tree.
I would appreciate if possible any information regarding Charles Nicolai Frederick Ulbrich (1830-1911). He disembarked from England too Australia in the 1830’s-1840’s. The ship he disembarked- arrived on is coming up blank in Australian records. And his family history nil.
His wife Margaret Ulbrich Drummond (FERGUSON) (DOB 1831-1902) of Perthshire Scotland is the same, no information on the ship or family.
Cheers,
Matthew Hooper

Trying to find Charles Wilson aka 'Tug' of Bahamian descent. He married Nellie Sparrow in 1920 in Chadderton, Oldham. His age on record was 31 years (born approx 1890)his occupation ship's fireman. His father was recorded as Michael Wilson who at the time of this register was deceased. In April 1921 they gave birth to my Grandmother Hilda. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember where he originated from although she thought it was an island with a St. in it although this isn't certain, she remembers he frequented Manchester (ship canal) and he was supposed to have worked on Broadway in Oldham the construction of. Her mother died in her early 20's leaving my grandmother at the age of approx 7/8 when she was told her father was going back to his homeland for work and would send for her, unfortunately this never happened and she never got to see him again.

I would be grateful if anyone could help!!

My grandmother has now passed and I promised I would keep on trying!!

JO
