Looking for Alan Smith born 3rd quarter 1941, and his brother Douglas L. Smith born February 28, 1945, born in Sheffield England. Alan lived at 40 Ayresome Oval Allerton, Bradford, in 1973. Do not know where abouts of Douglas. Mother Edith Anne Smith (Thickett)born in Sheffield England, born 2 June, 1923. Husband and father,Charles Smith. Married Edith in 3rd quarter 1940. Edith died 1973. Edith lived on Penistone Road. She was a nurse. Do not know what happened to her husband Charles, son Alan was informat on death certificate.
Appreciate help in finding Alan and Douglas.

Searching for information on ANDREW JOHNSTON. He was born in Ayrshire, Scotland on January 12, 1802. He arrived in New Brunswick, Canada in the spring of 1825. ANDREW married ANN SPENCE (born about 1802) in December 1827. ANN was born in County Armagh, Ireland. This is the only information I have on them regarding their lives in Scotland and Ireland.
After ANDREW and ANN were married, they settled on a farm in Cocagne, New Brunswick, Canada. This is where they raised their family. They are my gr-gr grandparents. I have lots of information on them once they came to New Brunswick, Canada but would like to find out who their parents were? Did they have brothers and sisters? Is there still family in Scotland and Ireland? So any information would be much appreciated. Brenda |

Further to my request dated Sept 12, 2004 for information about my Great-grandfather, Thomas Eli WEBB, I have discovered he came out to New Zealand with the 40th (Somerset) Regiment some time before 1863 and was stationed in the Waikato area in 1865 where his wife, Catherine, gave birth to my grandmother Adelaide Annie WEBB.
