Looking for info on Clara HUGHES, b. possibly about 1928, was first found on Sheffield 1949 electoral register.
Also her parents, Clara (nee Banks) and Robert HUGHES. and Clara jnr other siblings, Lesley, Robert Edward and Jean (Jeanie?)

| I am tryinf to find the relations of William Ernest Andrew Lawrence who was born on the 30/11/1910 who lived at 83 Winchester road East leigh Hants and who was in the Grenadier Guards 1934 . His father was Alfred Ernest Lawrence and his mother was Elizabeth Charlotte Montague and the last known address i have was in a letter that was sent from his mother on the 23/07/1943 from 41 Meadow Mead Avenue, Regents Park , Southampton , Hampshire . He had 2 brothers , one called Bernard who was a serviceman and the other Norman who was fighter pilot , we think he might have had a sister also as there was a photo of a young lady with the name babs on the back so we are not sure if she was just a friend or his sister . He left England and arrived in australia on the 22/03/1935 . I hope there is some one out there who will be able to help me find out about my relatives who are still living in Englad or who have moved else where |

JOHN DARBY b 26 sept, 1827 bap: 28 oct, 1827 bishop street wesleyan leicestershire. He married ANN CHAPMAN the 3 march 1851 in barrow upon soar. she was b abt 1832 mountsorrel.

TOM DARBY b abt 1859 same, married SARAH (HALL)??, HAD A DAUGHTER NAMED lucy darby.
SAMUEL DARBY b 11 sep 1860 barrow upon soar, was a blacksmith and also a organ player as well as the bandmaster of the BARROW ON SOAR SILVER BRASS BAND.He married 2 times. Once to ELIZABETH MARY NEAL and ISABELLA BILTON.

| Looking for the whereabouts of Jabez and Margaret Milner (nee Middleton) in the early 1860s. Jabez born Wortley Leeds, Margaret from Oswestry. They were married in Manchester and appear to have lived in Doncaster and Manchester before she went with the children back to Yorkshire after Jabez died in Egypt in 1866. But where were any of the family in 1861 - not in the census as far as I can see? |
