I am looking for any information on my father and grandfather.My grandfather was married to Elizabeth Macnamara.The following is a list of the children of this marriage with the approx dates of birth.
Thomas Nixon born about 1875 Bacup,Lancashire
Denis Nixon born about 1877 Bacup Lancashire
Elizabeth Nixon born about 1879 Bacup Lancashire
Anthony Leo Nixon born 27th March 1881 Burnley Padingham county of lancaster
Julia Nixon born about 1896 Bacup Lancashire
Margeret Nixon born about 1888 Bacup Lancashire
Mary Agnes Nixon born about 1884 Bacup Lancashire
Norah Nixon born about 1893 Bacup Lancashire
Teresa Nixon born about 1891 Bacup lancashire.
My father Anthony Leo Nixon married Emily Chadd 0n the 7th December 1916 at the Register Office at West Bromwich. My father was a Gold Miner Machine Contractor. I had three sisters all born in the U.K. Dorothy was the eldest followed by Maegaret and then Joan. I Dennis Nixon was born on the 28th December 1928 in Johannesburg South Africa. My parents only came back to the U.K. on holiday and died and were buried in South Africa. My father died in 1942 and buried in Cape Town. My mother died in 1968 and is buried in Kimberley.Any help would be greatly appreciated as I know very little of my family history. |

| In search of parents of John H. Thompson, b. 1833 who married Rebecca Wilson, b. 1838 and emigrated on the ship CULTIVATOR from Liverpool, England in 1862 to New York City and settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They both died there in 1912. Ship records list him as a farmer and both from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Any information would be appreciated. I would like information on Rebecca Wilson also. |

I am looking for any information about my grandfather, William Alexander Wiffen, born in England or Ireland between 1870 and 1890.Also lived in South Africa between 1905 and 1911. ? died while serving in the first world war.
