He was a singer in London, and he married an Alice Parr in 1906 in Manchester, England. I know they both came to the U.S., and I'd appreciate any information about thier families or how best to search for them that can be offered. Thanks for your time, Adam Schuck Reply to this message   George Hoskin England Jan 19, 2006 My great grandfather was George Hoskin, who married Elizabeth Cornish Bailey in October 1857 in Soke Dameral, Devon. He died aged 81 on 26 April 1917 in Registrar's District of Medway, sub division Rochester and Chatham. He had a son John, who was my grandfather and a daughter Emily, whose married name was Marsnew. They lived in Gillingham, Kent. I would like to know who his parents were and anythgin else that would help. He came with some of his brothers, who first settled in Queen's county, Maryland, and then he finally settled in Marion Co., Virginia to live. His brothers went to North Carolina, and Tenneese U.S.A. Gardian Reply to this message   barbara carlyon western Aaustralia Jan 14, 2006 I am trying to find any information about my grandmothers sister.Her name was Florence Mabel Johncock and she was born in Ramsgate Kent in 1891.Her parents were Sarah Ann Johncock formerlyForward/Forwood and William Alfred Johncock.The address they were living at was St Georges Cottages at the back of Hardres Street Ramsgate.My Grandmothers name was Sarah Jane Attwell formerly Johncock and her last address was Limekiln Cottage Ramsgate in 1963.Any information would be appreciated.
