I am looking for any info into the Greenhalgh family, we think from the Radcliffe area. They pronounced the name "green-ouch". I know some relatives lived on Dooners Lane. My great-great grandfather's name was Adam, and his mother's name was Marianne Hardman. Adam came over here when he was 2 yrs old, year? I heard that he said he came into a port in New Jersey. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks! |

I am looking for information concerning my great grandfather.
His name is George Honeybourne and he was married to Laura, who's maiden name is Halse.
They lived in the Greengate area of Salford at 4 Mason street about 1911.
They had two sons who I know about-Richard and James of whom Richard was born in June 1911 and James in November 1912.
George worked as a Dye labourer in 1911.
If theres anyone out there who knows any of the above or information concerning Laura Halse, please let me know as I'm doing my family tree and I've come to a brick wall.
Thanks |

Searching for Dr Clark(e) from Birmingham area?
In the 1970s my husband and I were foster parents for Birmingham Social Services. As such, one of the pre-shoolers in our care was assessed at
Birmingham Children`s Hospital for her suitability to be adopted. The lady who assessed the child was Dr Clark(e), who may have been Head of the hospital?
During our visit, we discussed my married name - Foulger - and she told me that her mother was a Foulger. At the time, we could not make a
connection, but I have been researching the Foulgers and would like to make contact with Dr Clark again, or her family, if possible. TIA.

I am searching for confirmation on family history of my GGG Grandmother and father. His name is John Guest and her name is Lady Hannah Graham. They eloped and married without her parents consent. They moved to America with their 7 children around 1812-1819 and settled in southern Indiana Territory. Hannah was reported to be a daughter of the Duke of Montrose but was disinherited due to the elopement and John Guest being English not Scottish by birth. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. |
