| Searching for my father's birth mother Margaret Macindoer who then became Margaret Stewart after marrying John Stewart in Glasgow in July 1943.My father was born at 1014 Great Western Road Glasgow..on 25th February 1941. His birth name was Gordon Macindoer and his adopted name Gordon Scobie. He was adopted in 1943...Also searching for his sister who was also born at 1014 Great Western Road Glasow in 1936, who was presumably adopted too. |

Hello
I have just found out my husband has another sister who was adopted.........
Her birth name is ELIZABETH SHERGOLD MCCLUSKIE CUNNINGHAM born 27 August 1943 at 3 Seright Square, Crookedholm, Ayr
Fathers name James Cunningham
Mothers name Margaret/Maggie Judge Mcphee Cunningham (Maiden name Mccluskie)
She was adopted by WILLIAM LOVE MOFFAT and wife of 153 Auchinraith Road, Blantyre when she was 2 years and 1 month old, her name was changed to Marion Elizabeth Love Moffat.
IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME PLEASE GET IN CONTACT
