| I have traced my husband's family back to Niel MacAra and his wife Matilda (Monteath). They lived in Muthill, Perthshire up until the 1841 census, but I can't find them after that & they may have emigrated. If anyone has any info on Niel & Matilda, I would love to hear from you. |

John McLauchlan/McLauchlane born 1801 Dunkeld, Perthshire. Married 1824 Coupar Angus Majerie Milne/Mills of Cargill, Perthshire.
His children:
Ann McLauchlan/e
John McLauchlan/e
William McLauchlan/e
Marjery (May) McLauchlan
James McLauchlan.
I have come across the name spelt McLamblam in an 1841 census in Cargill, Perthshire.
Please contribute if you canb..even if it doesn't connect with my line it may smash that brickwall for someone elses.

Am looking for information about a Georgina Penman Anderson , born 1875 in Cananmills , Edinburgh, to a John Anderson , grocer, and a Christina Penman.
At 1891 census Georgina was visiting her sister, Christina Stewart in Cheshire, England. At 1901 census , she was back home with her parents in Edinburgh.
Have no further info on Georgina. Does anyone know if she married , or if she returned to England after her parents died ?
Would appreciate ANY bit of information. Georgina was my Aunt.
