WILSON - EAST SIDE GLASGOW
James Hendry Wilson married Grace Steven Rankin 1/6/1897 marriage registered at the Bridgeton registry office in Glasgow. I would appreciate finding out who there parents were. They had 7 children Robert, Thomas born 28/11/1908, William, Archibald born 6/10/1907, James, Christina and Samuel. Any help would be appreciated.

RAE - GALSTON SCOTLAND
Andrew Rae married Jane (nee) Nae one child known of Andrew Rae who came to New Zealand but was born in Galston about 1901. He was a wrestler so I have been informed. Anyone who can assist me with more info I would appreciate it.

I am looking for information on MUNRO's. My family moved to Canada sometime in the 1600's, from Inverness Scotland. I know this is vague, but I don't have any names from that far back. My great-grandfather's name was THOMAS EDWARD MUNRO. His wife was LILLIAN (HANKIN) MUNRO, from Liverpool England. Thanks so much.

In 1994 aged 60 told I wasn't me - but real father was William Jennings Wallace in USA, who I traced, but dec'd 1977. Then told I was related to 3rd & 4th Earl Spencer through their mother Lady Bingham and Trevor family by a sister of my paternal grandmother Catherine Livingstone - and do indeed look much like 3rd Earl John Charles, but live in remote Perth West Australia, and tracing is very difficult from here. Feel a bit like a walking talking rather confused haggis - so any help greatly appreciated.

Alexander Nicolson of Edinburgh married Mary Reid in 1820 at Eedinburgh.Mary was the youngest daughter of David Reid and gray Davidson of South Leith.As David and Gray had 7 daughters it is hard to find anyone who may be descended from this family.
The other names were; Alison,Catherine, Jane, Christian, Margaret and Sarah.
would be happy to hear from other descendants .

I am Looking for a Samuel Gibson-Born 1822-Abbey, Paisley, Ref. Scotland. He Married Mary Shields abt.1845-had two children. She left him and came to America. He sayed there. We don't know what happened to him after that.

I am looking for anyone who can give me any information about my family. The information I have is that my Grandfather was James Hunter Malcolm, born Dec 1891, his father was John Malcolm and his mother Elizabeth Hunter. I know they came from the Bridgeton area of Glasgow and from there headed north to Fort William, but thats about it. Any information would be greatly received. Thanx

I am trying to find any information about my family .My great grandfather was the son of William MENZIES and MARY WALKER who lived in SCOTLAND.My great grandfather was also William Menzies.He was born on 17 August 1868 at Middle or Old Parrish Greenock Renfrewshire.He married Elizabeth Purdie Park around about 1888 in Melbourne Victoria Australia. They came to NEW ZEALAND about 1894. They had 8 children 4 boys and 4 girls .My grrandfather was the youngest ot the boys but he had a younger sister.Elizabeth as far as we know was not Australian but came out from Scotland with her parents.
