Seeking the birth place and ancestors of James Gregg Oreum Harper. He came to the USA in about 1850 when he was about nine years of age. He is my great grandfather. I think he landed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When he was of age he supervised paper making in Massachusetts. Thanks. Wanda Cole

We are looking for information on our Divine heritage. It would be great to find out if anyone has any additional information on our ancestors from Scotland. We have come to a dead end on our Divine family. I am wondering if the Divine family we have on record changed their name from Devine to Divine. Here is the only information that we have on our Divine family
Margurite Divine Born Mar 1892: Place Fallschurch,Virginia Death May 1975 Place Colorado Springs,Colorado Married Paul Holcomb
Parents of Margurite Divine- Father:Thomas Joseph Divine Born Glascow,Scotland Death Orwell, Ohio
Thomas married Katherine McGregor We have no information on Katherine except that she was born in Edinborough, Scotland and died in Virginia. No dates etc.
Other children of Thomas and Katherine were: Anne (From information we have Anne was the daughter of Thomas but not Katherine. Possible previous marriage?) Ethel Thomas Eric Eugene

MAJOR BRICKWALL!!! Hi, I am researching (VERY SLOWLY) as you can all imagine the LINDSAY FAMILY from SCOTLAND! I have lots of info from the SCOTTISH side of the family and some from American (I just hope they are related!)But i am really after the Australian LINDSAY FAMILY. My fathers mother was a LINDAY (Betty Yvonne Lindsay)from South Australia. If anyone has any Lindsay it will be helpful (even the ones from Scotland as there are a lot of empty spaces. If you have a Sir David Lindsay os Crawford (he was the 1st Earl of Crawford) then there maybe a Link. You never no.
Thanks
