looking for my birth mother(margaret ann hughes) originally from colwyn bay, wales, she had two daughter's, valerie ann hughes born in 1957, and margaret linda mary hughes born in 1962, we were fostered out to a joan and edgar ringham(to whom has raised us well, and treated us like their very own children from the begining) but we would still like to know where our birth mother is, we have been searching for years, but we've had no success so far and it is very frustrating when you are trying so hard to look for your natural parents out there. we would also like to try to find our natural fathers,(margaret linda mary hughes father is called'john patrick flemming) from somewhere in ireland, all i know is that he was a long distance lorry driver in the past years, and he visited bristol a lot in the 70's. my mother and my father were not married to eachother at the time. and my mother did live in bristol for some years in the 1970's, but we don't know what happened after that? did she return to colwyn bay, north wales? or with my father in ireland? or did she remain in bristol? we just don't know the mystery? i also know that my birth mother also called margaret-had a sister called(barbara? her surname at the time was quigg(through marriage i guess) my mother also worked at stoke park hospital in bristol, and had many other jobs in the bristol area, please. if anyone genuinely knows anything about my mother or father or her sister, ANY INFORMATION would be grateful, as i would like to put the jigsaw to our family together, i still hope that my birht mother and father is ALIVE and WELL, but who knows mymother would be in her 80's now cos she had me(margaret) when she was 40yrs old, and i am now 43 myself! and my sister is 47yrs old now. please help to unsolve our family mystery(only genuine answers please)thank-you. (margaret(hughes) bryant. |

NO REGRETS
Awarding winning documentary filmmakers Quality Time Television are looking for people who are seeking to resolve a regret from their past to take part in a Channel 4 series.
This regret could relate to any area of your life but must be something that has had a big impact on you, leaving you with the urge to change things.
It could mean contacting a lost relative with whom you need to resolve issues. It could be finding the child that you missed growing up. You may be entering into a completely new venture as result of a past regret. Perhaps you are terminally ill and wish to finally face the thing that you have feared the most. The possibilities are endless.
If you have such a story to tell or a regret to resolve we would love to hear from you.

Hi. Im looking for an Albert Ronald Evans, commonly known as Ron Evans. He lived at Newton Lodge, Wrexham, around 12 years ago and i believe for some reason, has now moved to Bangor. He was born 9th November 1945/1946. He has a sister called Susan who is still living in Wrexham with her family. He had a bad car accident years ago Which affected his leg and therefore used to walk with a wooden stick, he probably still does now. Please email me if you have ANY information whatsoever. sarahbd863@hotmail.com |

I am searching for descendants of James Howard & Jemima James who were married in Bedwelty Monmouthshire on June 7 1824. One son, Edmund was my great-great-Grandfather, and I believe that he had siblings. Edmund married Mary Jane Bennett in 1854 in Newport M and they had 9 children, only 5 survived. Their eldest daughter was educated at 'Woodgreen' ladies college in London and immigrated to Australia in 1886.
Any help tracing these siblings would be very helpful. Thanks. |

Looking for more information on Williams / John families. Found my great-grandparent's wedding certificate dated 8 December 1865 in the parish of Lantwit Vairdre in the County of Glamorgan, Wales; married by Horatio James Thomas; witnesses were Thomas Richard and Mary Ann John. My great-grandfather's name was David Williams. The certificate reads: he was 21 years old at the time of marriage (hence born around 1844); residence at the time of the marriage was Upper Boat Eglwysilan; his father's name was Evan Williams who is listed as a contractor. My great-grandmother's maiden name was Margaret John. The certificate reads: she was 20 years old at the time of marriage (hence born around 1845); residence at time of marriage was Warren; her father's name was William John who was listed as a farmer. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you! |
