I am looking for anyone who might know of the family of John and Rebecca [Prichard] Jones who came to the U.S.A. about 1881 to 1883. I know that his father was also John and his mother was Elizbeth [Gramayk] her last name in question. and her parents were John Prichard and Margart [Phillips]Prichard this is as far as I can go.
The death certificate give England a birth place but we think Wales as Walter their son said the came from Wales.

I am wondering if someone out there can give me a bit more information on my Joneses.
My Great Great grandfather was David Thomas Jones, born 20/01/1897 - possibly in Lampeter.
I have the following information from the Lampeter School Register
John Morgan Jones dob 27/3/95 left school on 2/4/1909 to be a grocer's assistant
David Thomas Jones dob 20/1/1897 left school on 22/7/1910
Evan Rees Jones dob 17/12/1899 left school on 29/5/1914 to be a newsboy
The family lived at Blaenpant House and the father's name is given as D.M.Jones, merchant in one entry and grocer in another entry.
In the Land Valuation Act Schedule 1910 Blaenpant House is still owned by David Morgan Jones and
is no. 34 High Street, Lampeter.
There is no baptism for David Thomas Jones in the Anglican Parish Registers and no mention of the family anywhere in Lampeter in the 1901 census, another family are living in 34 High Street at this time so it looks as if they moved to Lampeter sometime between the 1901 census and the first school registration entry which was 20/1/1902.
David Thomas Jones married he married Helen Douglas Young Ferguson on 13th June 1916 in Dunfermline, his father is given as David Morgan Jones, grocer, and Mother as Elizabeth (i believe Evans was her maiden name). On the marriage certificate he is noted as being Merchant Seaman, Driver 'Royal Horse Artillery'.
I believe that David Thomas Jones died at Sea, however no-one in the family can confirm this.
My Grandfather was also David Morgan Jones, born Falkirk in the 1920, he died in 1972 in Camelon, he had one sister Jean Jones, his mother remarried a gentleman ??? Duncan and they lived in Plean, he has several half brothers and sister Douglas, John and Billy (that I Know off).
My Gran tells me that there were more siblings that just Evan and John, as my Grandfather died 7 years before I was born I would be grateful if someone could help me out, I am really anxious to know more of my Welsh connections.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Gillian
