Reply to this message   Tracy Evans UK Jan 09, 2003 Have come to a brick wall in the search of my family name Evans. My great grand father RICHARD EVANS 1846-1912, was born Llansilin, or near Oswestry. He married a Margart Jones in 1873, in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. The problem I have is going beyond 1846, the only clue that we have is the marriage certificate where it indicates his fathers name, also RICHARD EVANS, who was still alive in 1873, and a possible brother called JOHN EVANS who was a witness. No further info can be found. I have most of the family details after 1846, so if any body out there who may have a possible link, connection to him, then I will be much appreciated. They were both born in Caerphilly in South Wales, Steven on 12/07/62 and Gary on 11/8/63. They have a sister Dawn, who has also lost contact with them. Steven has worked in Ireland and Germany and I would dearly like to contact them. I used to live in Nantgarw, Mid-Glam. Their father lives in Tongwynlais near Cardiff. Reply to this message   Monte A Springer California, USA Jan 08, 2003 My beautiful and precious son has been parentally abducted from the state of California. His name is John Florence Springer and is 7 years old. His mother and I have been separated for 5 years now. She has stolen my son, my pride and joy. In July of 2002, immediately after attending a custody hearing, she got in a taxi, picked up our son from daycare, and headed for the airport. I was informed second hand that the police traced the cab to the airport. Several days later a letter was received by her mother, postmarked from the U.K., remarking that she did not intend to return and would possibly contact a family member in about a year’s time. It is absolutely unfathomable that the person I shared 20 years of my life with would do such a thing. Not only has she stolen from me, more importantly, she has stolen from my son. This situation is out of control. Parental child abductions committed by a mother in California are not taken very seriously. Within the last month, I have discovered that the authorities on my end have not even made a phone call to try to locate them based on leads provided them by me. Naturally, this is the short version. For this reason, I am enlisting the help of all that are willing to help me re-unite with my son. Prior to the time of abduction, my son’s right thumb had been broken in three places and the thumbnail was missing, He goes by the name of Flurry and is thin built with blue eyes and brown hair. He has a birthmark on his lower back. Approximately ½ of the area of his lower back is of a darker skin pigmentation of no particular shape. His mother went by the name of Kathleen Marie Sullivan-Springer. She is 40 years old and has long wavy brown hair with blue eyes. She is of light complexion with numerous broken blood vessels about her upper chest. She is 5’6” tall and about 165 pounds in weight. They are both of American citizenship and have never resided outside of California. Dark brown eyes and hair, dob 1965 - 1966, age 36 - 37, having a 3 years older sister. I lived in Ashford, Kent, England at the time, before unexpectedly having to move to Canada without having a chance to say good bye. Reply to this message   Verna United States Dec 20, 2002 I am looking for information on my great grandmother Elizabeth Jones Fields Morgan born 1844 in Wales and died March 2, 1922 in Chesaning, Michigan, United States. The only information that I have is that she had been previous married and had a son named William Fields. Apparently her first husband was killed in a mining accident and she later married his partner Samuel John Morgan of England, bd: Dec 1841, and died March 2, 1922, in Chesaning, Michigan. They came to Michigan sometime after their marriage (England or Wales don't know)I would think around the 1870's, because their third child born to their marriage was born in 1877.
