Annie disappeared in Blackpool during the mid 40's leaving 6 children and has not been heard of since, she was born in Monmouth Wales in 1902. We have not heard of grandfather since 1952. Reply to this message   Linda England Sussex Jul 16, 2009 I am looking for information about my great great grandmother Harriett williams , Born in aberdare in 1841. I can find no record of her marriage to my great grandfather Thomas Evans Born in Ystragunlais in 1839. The story in the family is that she was connected to the Evans Bevans family but was cut off because she married an ordinary miner, who we know could not read or write. Thomas died in 1876 leaving her with 4 sons that we know of but we think that there was a younger sister. Their names were Daniel 1862, Thomas 1863, William 1866 and my grandfather John 1871.The daughter would have been born after him. she died soon after Thomas because we know that John and his sister were brought up by relatives in Carmarthen.
