Hello, I am trying to find my grandmother VIOLET GOWER ALAIS O'SHEA used in early 1930's.she was known to be in lambeth london, in early 1930's she was a domestic servant.According to GEORGE JOSEPH FLETCHER violet gave birth to my father in UNIVERSITY COLLEGE HOSPITAL. 1931. HE WAS TAKEN TO ST.CLEMENTS DAY NURSERY. TREADGOLD STREET. WEST LONDON ON 11TH DECEMBER 1931 AND LEFT. GEORGE WHO CLAIMS TO BE MY FATHERS FATHER SAID IN A LETTER TO SOCIAL SERVICES AT THE TIME THAT THE BOY LEN WAS 6 WEEKS OLD ON THE 11TH DECEMBER 1931, This would give my dads birth around the end of OCT beginning of NOV 1931. George Fletcher gave an address of 15 powis square/gardens or terrance in 1934. THe couple who took my dad to the nursery said his name was leonard william(S) this may not be his real name. Is violet gower still alive, is George fletcher still alive. Would any one ask their elderly residence in these areas to see if they know anything, i am desperate to find them, i am been trying for over twenty years.
