Please help me find my lost love!!!! My name is Stanley Curtis and I was in Company I, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division in WWII. . I was injured in action on January 3rd, 1944 at Cape Gloucester, New Britain Island, in the Pacific (a lot of my buddies weren't as lucky-they were killed). I was taken to a small village medical camp and nursed back to health by a pretty young woman by the name of Elizabeth Harrison. I was 25 yrs old at the time, and she was a pretty young lady 21 yrs of age. As I began to recover, I coaxed Lizzy (as I called her) to come and visit in the wee hours of the morning and lie next to me in the cot. Lizzy cried when I had to return to the states and told me she was carrying my child. I gave her my address, and she promised to write. I never heard from her again. I eventually met and married someone else that I had a son and a daughter with. My wife passed away a year ago and my kids don't have much to do with me. I gave them their inheritance when they were 23 and didn't hear much from them after that. I would like to find Elizabeth to find out if I had a son or a daughter by her and would like to get to know him or her before I die (I will be 82 yrs of age on August 15th of this year). It would be so wonderful to have a son or daughter who would accept me. I did fairly well for myself (I owned a sheet metal factory in Pennsylvania) and am now retired in West Palm Beach, FL (not far from where the Kennedy's have their place). I don't get out much except to grocery shopping. Most of my time is spent in front of the television with the remote control, or in front my computer trying to find my dear, sweet Elizabeth. Please, if anyone knows where I might find Lizzy, please reply. Thank-you Sincerely, Stanley Curtis. StanleyCurtis@yahoo.com
