Looking for any information about my father Peter Dempsey, born 1903 in Atherton (Manchester) UK.
Peters father was John Dempsey and mother Jane Huges, both of Irish descent.
Corporal Peter Dempsey was in military service in the Manchester Regiment between 1920 - 1942. This included over-seas service in India (1923-1930) and Norway (1940). Posted to 7 commando D Troop and also posted to 3 Special Service Battalion.
