Trying to find relations of WILLIAM THOMAS MARSHALL born Westminster abt 1853. he wed in abt 1883-5 and it lasted very short time. A son (William jnr) was born and WILLIAM raised him with the help of a housekeeper CECILIA LOUISA ARNOLD (CISSEL)
Not sure if they ever wed but they had at least 3 children together. Frederick , Gladys and Hilda between 1892-1900.
CISSEL was of Russian descent and was bornn in Hackney around 1865. WILLIAM and CISSEL lived at 41 Holloway Rd Islington and owned a Ham and Beef shop at 19 Cross St Reading. Willaim died in 1928 and she married twice after this , first to Mr Lovell and she died in 1951 aged 88 under the name of DEADMAN in Gosport.
