Thank you for giving me the opportunity to hopefully contact anyone who
may know the where abouts of Barrie. He and my mother had the same
mother and
different fathers. His Mother was Rose Dentin nee Knight. We do not
know where
she was buried, but I believe she died in 1973/74. His Father was
William
Leyland Dentin. Barrie was their only child and we believe that he was
born in
1937. His marriage certificate from the Parish Church of All Saints
showed his
address as Pear Tree Farm Lindford. Patricia McVicar's address was
listed as 1
Cabala Rd Highway , Highboy, London, N.5. Her Father's name was listed
as James
White McVicar. I don't know if the church was her family or Barrie's
church, or
if there is family in the neighborhood.
At our last contact with Barrie( he visited us on a sales trip to
the USA)
he was a sales manager for an electronics firm called Shure Electronics.
We
remember him saying that he did some work in Vienna. He apparently had
some
country property in Wales, but where we do not know. I'm giving you all
that we
have.
When it is in writing the information seems pitiful. My dream is to
find
Barrie and help my Mother to feel some conectiveness. Your having a site
for my note has given me my smile for the day. Thank you. I look forward
to further
correspondence.
