Hi, I am looking for a needdle in a haystack, can anyone help? My father David Townsend was born about 1899, birth not registered. His father was John Townsend name of mother not known, his siblings were John, Charles,Louise & Dorothy.All born in Sussex somewhere.John jrn, moved to Bedford With his wife Beatie & children Johnny,Norman,Florrie,Pat & Joan, Charles was killed in the war,WW1 I believe,Dorothy was in sevice somewhere & Louise was simple & in an institution. David married Kathleen Simmons in Hastings in 1927, later moved to Eastbourne. Does anyone know my uncle Johns family,who may be able to throw some light on the rest of the family, contact was lost after the 1950s. All help most welcome. thanks Valerie.
