I'm loking for my uncle. After Second World War my father received a letter from England,but the times were different than and my father was afraid to confess having brother in other country than Soviet Union. Why? The letter was brought by two policeman.And he was scared for me,my mum and two sons. Well,enought about us . If my uncle is alive, he's around 80-90 years old.He might be known as russian or ukrainian, by nationality.He's surname might be speld in two ways ether POLCHENKO or PALCHENKO.It is probable that he's name - SPEREDON. Yet ,he was born in Zaporozhskay oblast , village Frunze.The family was quet big.I was told ,by my father that he(my father) was eighth child.I knew only another four- ANNA, VARVARA, MIHAIL and ANDREY (died in 1945, beried in LVOV). My father,IVAN POLCHENKO,has died on 17 december, 1995.Just before he passed away he had asked me to find he's relatives and say hes last appologies. I'm not sure who I will find,but even if my uncle isn't alive any more... I would like to know my roots.Even if you non-member of our family but have heard about my uncle PLEASE DO REPLY TO ME.
