My Mum is searching for her birth mother, if anybody knows or has known FLORENCE GERTRUDE ALLAN, thought to be from 25 BLAND STREET, MOSS SIDE, MANCHESTER who gave birth to MABEL ALLAN on 8th January 1943(possibly in Kensington) then please get in touch. Mabel was put into a childrens home and later adopted by William and Alice Wallace, who renamed her JEAN WALLACE. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
