We have been searching for my fathers birth mother for sometime now. He was born Gerald Thomas William on 20/7/43
We know his mothers maiden name was Violet Turner and that she was very young and worked or lived at Victoria Avenue in Ilkley, West yorkshire.
Unfortunetly my Dad was told that he was not wanted because he was a boy but we now believe that he was very much wanted.
If anyone could help us PLEASE PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.
