My half brother Derek Paul Howard was born in 'Foxholes' (a mother and baby home I think) in Hitchin, Hertfordshire on 11th December 1946. He was later adopted and his adoptive surname may be Smith. Our mother was young and unmarried when he was born. I would really like to make contact with him or just be told that he is well and happy.The longer I search the more disheartened I get. Here's hoping that this message may be the one he sees. Thanks.
