Born Christine Anne Plane to Elsie Maud Plane in Calcutta, India Sept. 14, 1945 at Eden Hospital. Adopted by the Buckwalters in India in Dec., 1945 who changed my name to Joanne Grace Buckwalter.
Looking for Elsie Maud Plane who was 20 years when she gave birth to me. Her mother was attached to the RA. Elsie's father died when she was 9 years.
Bfather was a Sgt. Banner in the RA. He returned to UK in spring of 1945.
Any knowledge of her would be appreciated.
