To those who have been told that they were adopted because their birth parent/s had died, please bare in mind that this might not be true, but could have been a story invented to protect you. Many people in the 60's and early 70's and even earlier, were told that adoption means the birth parents had to "sever all ties" to their child, so the a-parents could have told you that your birth parent/s had died so that you would never search for them.

If you were told that your birth parent/s had died, then please make sure that this is true, as if it isn't you could have your birth parent/s searching for you, but unable to trace you. So, go and check out the facts and put lots of messages out on all the sites. Make yourself very easy to find!
