I was born on the 7th of April 1943 at 20, Nell Lane, Withington, Manchester. I was named Barbara Anne, my mother's name was Margaret Eleanor Burgess, she was a capstan driller (munition works) and her address was 435 Claremont Rd, Rusholme, Manchester.
My birth was registered in the subdistrict of Withington on the 21st April 1943.
