in search of my birth mother MARY JOSEPHINE HEFFERNAN (I was Gail Heffernan on my original birth certificate). I was born on 26.9.63 at East Dulwich Hospital in London and some weeks later (through Southwark/Lambeth Adoption Agency) adopted by Don & Betty Noys of Canham Road, West Norwood, London. I believe my mother lived in Canterbury Grove SW16 at the time with her mother from Ireland. I also believe there was some sort of battle over whether I should go to Ireland with my grandmother after the adoption? I now live in New Zealand. Can you help?
