I am looking for my half brother. He was born on March 24th 1943 and was named Michael. His adoption took place shortly afterwards and was in Yorkshire, probably in the Bradford area. His birth certificate named his mother as Winifred Mary Sumner and his father as James Edward Sumner. Until 1996 I had no idea of his existence. My half sister, born a year later, in 1944, and also adopted, traced me through an agency and it was during her search that she discovered there had been a child born to our birth mother the previous year.
