LOOKING FOR KATHLEEN AGNES RUTHERFORD NEE WATSON:
Kathleen was born on the 4th of August 1948 at Burkinford Toll near Southdean in the Scottish Borders. Birth parents were a William Sharkey(now deceased) and Margaret Armstrong Petrie Sharkey nee Ross. Kathleen,s birth name was Kathleen Margaret Sharkey. Kathleen was adopted by a Mr John Hope Watson and a Mrs Clare Watson on the 31st January 1952 , the adoption was finalised at Sheriff Court of Roxburgh,Berwick and Selkirk at Jedburgh. Kathleen,s adoption broke down and Kathleen spent time in Wilton House Children,s Home in Hawick. It was here that Kathleen met her birth brothers and sisters: William(aka Billy), David, Agnes(aka Nancy) and Margaret. Kathleen did return to her adoptive parents and she kept in touch with her brother Billy for a short time.
Kathleen married hence the surname Rutherford. Christian name of husband possibly Tom, date of marriage unknown. Kathleen also has a son called Kevin McNamara born on the 14th February 1973 at 19.05 hours at The Royal Maternity Hospital in Glasgow. The father of Kathleen,s son is a Mr Daniel McNamara who was employed as a Natural Gas Survey Officer. Kathleen,s address at this time was 206 Main Road, Elderslie.Kathleen has since remarried after the death of her first husband, she is possibly residing in Blackpool.
