I am trying to trace my husband's birth father. He was born in 1939. His birth mother, Mary Shannon, lived in London before the Second World War. She was friendly with a girl whose surname was O'Gorman (Christian name may have been Babs or Annie) who worked in Cheyne Walk for Euphemia Groves. Miss O'Gorman married somebody called Hill, and had at least two children, John F Hill and Patricia Hill, who were born in London. I think they later moved to the Midlands and had another daughter called Maureen. It may be a long shot, but I hope that they might have some information about the time Mary spent in London.
