I am searching for my daughter that I had to give up for adoption in 1968. She was born on 2nd May 1968 at St Mary's Hospital in Portsmouth, I called her Samantha, I think she will still have light auburn/ golden coloured hair, the same as mine. My name at that time was Christine Neil. I wasn't given much information about her adoptive parents except that they were possibly in jewellery business. The adoption went through Bournemouth court and the papers were signed on 6th October 1968. I have thought of her every day since then and have been trying to find her and even after 32 years I feel I have a piece of my life missing. I do not want to intrude or disrupt her life in any way but I long to know if I did the right thing and she has had a happy life. I am married now and she a sister and a brother who would also love to meet her. If anyone can help me I would be eternally grateful.
