I am looking for Gwendoline (Jean) Burnand - birth name.
Adopted by a London family at about 6 weeks old. Born in Eastbourne. Home address was 31 Hamdon Avenue, Hamdon Park, Eastbourne.
Kept in touch with maternal grandparents (Hollands)who were very religious and Salvation Army members.
Parents name Gwendoline (a.k.a. Nancy) & Harold Burnand. You have 2 sisters. One here in England and one in Australia.
You were adopted and the others were put into care by father when mother died. Eldest sister Margaret Ann (my mother) and Jennifer would like to get in touch.
Left so long as felt it was best for you. My mum is scared to get in touch, but feels now it is right. She needs to know how life has treated you and if you are willing to get in touch.
