Information about: John William Carleton, Richard Taylor, Graham Taylor, Fred Pearson. Looking for anyone who can help me find my roots. My birthname was Patricia Edmondson and I was born 12.2.48 at 543 Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton cum Hardy, Manchester, 21 to Marjorie Alice Bertha nee Hare. Marjorie, at the time of giving birth to me, was 33/34 and divorced from her husband, Arthur Frederick Edmondson. I was adopted out from Rotherham. I have found a brother who was born out of wedlock (1939) the father on his birth certificate shows as Arthur Frederick Edmondson. It is believed that my father could be either John William Carleton, born Sheffield 1890, Lord Mayor, Alderman and Owner of a number of businesses in Morecambe, or his son-in-law Richard Taylor also from Morecambe. Richard Taylor had a son Graham Taylor - he could be either my brother or my nephew. Also looking for Carleton's chauffeur - Fred Pearson or his relatives.
