Hi, I'm posting on behalf of my mother who was born on the 4th December 1957, 4/12/57, and who has been searching for her birth mother all her life. Her name is Sheila and we think her mother was Irish. She was adopted at the Catholic Children's Rescue Home in Manchester (Didsbury?) by my grandparents, who have always lived in Oldham. My mum is currently gravely ill with a genetic disease and any information would be useful for my benefit if not hers!
