Searching on behalf of my sister, who is birth mother to Deborah Preston, born: 27/03/1969, in Wrekin Hospital, Wellington, Shropshire. Was adopted approx. 10 weeks later. Birth mother is Shirley Maureen Preston, born: 01/11/1953, who was pregnant with Deborah at Myford House Mother and Baby Home, Horsehay, Dawley, Shropshire. Her home address was, and still is Wolverhampton. Shirley seems to recall that she was told that Deborah's adoptive parents were architect (father) and accountant (mother). Shirley is desperate to make contact with Deborah, if only to explain the circumstances of the adoption, and that her hands were tied. Other info. which may help, paperwork seems to suggest that the adoption was completed via Walsall County Court.
